Location: Goshen, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Work Environment: 100% Onsite
Compenstaion: $49.920,000 to $60,320.00
Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized Documentation Specialist to capture and document office procedures, workflows, and operational processes. This individual will work closely with key personnel to gather information, take detailed notes, and create clear process documentation that will support future training and knowledge transfer efforts.

The ideal candidate is a strong listener, skilled note-taker, and highly detail-oriented professional who can quickly understand business processes and translate them into clear, organized documentation. The documentation created in this role will serve as a valuable resource for future team members and a permanent hire to be added at a later date.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with employees and department leaders to learn and document current processes and procedures
  • Take detailed notes during meetings, training sessions, and process reviews
  • Create step-by-step process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Organize information, forms, and supporting materials into a centralized knowledge base
  • Ask thoughtful questions to ensure processes are fully understood and accurately documented
  • Identify gaps or areas requiring clarification
  • Maintain and update documentation as processes are reviewed and refined
  • Ensure documentation is clear, organized, and usable for future team members and training purposes
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in documentation, business operations, project coordination, administrative support, training, or a related role
