Hourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
Title Processing & Documentation
  • Review and process vehicle title documents in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Verify supporting documentation (e.g., odometer statements, reassignment forms, powers of attorney)

  • Enter, update, and maintain title information in internal systems with high accuracy.

  • Ensure all documentation is complete, compliant, and properly recorded.

Mail Processing & Documentation
  • Process, sort, and distribute incoming mail.

  • Prepare vehicle titles and associated documents for scanning.

  • Scan, verify, and associate documents to barcoded folders in the system.

  • Operate mail processing equipment and maintain scanning equipment.

  • Organize workspace and maintain document accuracy and security

File Management & Inventory Control
  • File and maintain documents in a secured vault repository

  • Retrieve documents and folders as needed.

  • Audit and maintain title inventory accuracy.

  • Ensure proper record retention and document tracking procedures are followed.

Shipping & Release
  • Prepare outgoing title shipments and print waybills.

  • Coordinate release and shipment of vehicle titles to clients.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience.

Preferred:
  • Title processing, automotive administration, or office/clerical work.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

  • Other duties as needed or required

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
