We supply parts to a wide variety of industries, including recreational vehicles, agriculture, transit bus, medical, trucking, and other industrial markets. Given our opportunity-driven mindset, we are always growing and expanding our customer base, adding new manufacturing technology, and driving ourselves to push beyond the current day. That growth mindset means MORryde must be process forward in order to tackle all the challenges, or opportunities rather, that present themselves.


As a Process Improvement Engineer at MORryde, you will be tasked with assessing areas for improvement, devising a plan, and executing it to improve our manufacturing process quality standards. Success will come from taking initiative, being passionate in your stance, and rallying a team to ensure implemented practices stand the test of time.


Big picture success within Quality is rooted in daily foundational items – you will be responsible for enforcing that foundation. That includes creating quality documents for our Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing inspection of new part releases from start to finish, and verifying quality processes are in place and leading remedial training when needed.


Your role will also be heavily involved with incident and nonconformance reviews, root cause analysis, and creating and championing corrective action solutions. Utilizing the power of the team is key, processes are a collective effort, and you will play a significant role in leading the team to success.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Analytical skillset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Basic use of measurement equipment
  • Ability to interpret and read manufacturing prints
  • Customer focused attitude with the ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work within and lead a team
  • Proactive approach to quality issues
