Job description

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to join our IT Team in an on-site role at 4401 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN. The Process Improvement Analyst supports efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness by identifying, designing, and helping implement automation solutions and technology-driven process improvements. The role partners with internal teams and third-party vendors to support and maintain automated workflows, including monitoring, testing, and supporting RPA and Microsoft Power Automate solutions. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving complex scenarios, takes pride in producing accurate and thoughtful work, and is motivated by improving how systems and processes operate. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support process improvement efforts by helping identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and improved use of technology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to help monitor, support, and maintain existing RPA and automation solutions.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or enhanced processes and automated workflows.
  • Support process improvement and automation efforts using Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft Office 365 tools for workflow support, analysis, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Communicate process updates, changes, and issues clearly with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Document project progress within the corporate project management platform and/or ticket system.
  • Support knowledge base management by helping maintain, organize, and update content related to processes, automation, and system usage.
  • Apply established process improvement methodologies, tools, and best practices in day-to-day work and actively build knowledge and skills to remain current with evolving technologies and tools.
  • Follow established data security, compliance, and documentation standards when supporting process and automation work.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Office 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of workflow automation concepts or experience supporting automated processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and process improvement practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation tools.
  • Exposure to robotic process automation (RPA) platforms or vendor-supported automation solutions.
  • Experience assisting with testing, validation, or user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Knowledge of process improvement or continuous improvement concepts.
  • Previous financial institution experience is highly desirable.
