Project Manager, Process Documentation
100% Remote

Position Summary
Will support spinoff-related business readiness efforts by leading process documentation, coordinating cross-functional project activities, and enabling effective stakeholder communication. This role is responsible for documenting current and future state processes, maintaining project and operational readiness materials, tracking key project activities, and supporting successful knowledge transfer across impacted business functions.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Documentation and Business Readiness
  • Lead the inventory, creation, update, and ongoing maintenance of process documentation related to spinoff activities.
  • Partner with business owners and subject matter experts to document current state and future state processes.
  • Develop process flows, standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and operational runbooks.
  • Maintain document repositories and ensure version control standards are consistently followed.
  • Identify documentation gaps, process dependencies, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Support knowledge transfer and operational readiness activities across impacted teams.
Project Management Support
  • Assist project leaders with planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Facilitate project meetings and prepare agendas, meeting notes, action items, and status reports.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively escalate potential delays, risks, or blockers.
  • Maintain project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities to ensure action items are completed on schedule.
Stakeholder Coordination and Change Readiness
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams, vendors, HR, benefits, payroll, finance, technology, and other functional areas participating in the spinoff.
  • Gather requirements, document decisions, and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  • Support change management and organizational readiness initiatives by helping teams prepare for process, operational, and organizational impacts.
  • Promote alignment across workstreams by ensuring stakeholders have timely access to accurate information, decisions, and next steps.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, human resources, project management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience supporting large-scale business transformation, separation, integration, or organizational readiness initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear, accurate process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and project materials.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including tracking milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience working with document repositories, collaboration platforms, and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with business process mapping, operational readiness planning, and change management practices.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, synthesize information, and translate complex inputs into actionable documentation.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams that may include HR, payroll, benefits, finance, technology, vendors, and business operations.
Key Success Measures
  • Process documentation is complete, accurate, version controlled, and accessible to intended stakeholders.
  • Project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items are tracked and communicated effectively.
  • Business teams are prepared for operational changes through timely documentation, knowledge transfer, and readiness support.
