Description

Summary: The Process Engineer is responsible designing, implementing, monitoring and improving manufacturing or operational processes to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity while reducing costs and waste.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyze existing production and operational processes.

Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Develop and implement process improvements.

Monitor process performance using data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Identify and troubleshoot production issues.

Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects.

Support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities.

Prepare technical reports and process documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or process optimization. Experience with ERP, MES, or SCADA systems.

Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English

Skills:

Project management skills required.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001, GMP, etc.).

Familiarity with process control and automation.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
