About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst who excels at transforming complex business knowledge into clear, actionable documentation that drives execution. You will lead discovery, process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation while serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering, and third-party vendors. A hands-on technical background with Node.js and PostgreSQL is a strong advantage but not required.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead discovery sessions with executives and department leaders.
โ€ข Document current and future-state business processes, workflows, business rules, and decision logic.
โ€ข Create process maps, swim lanes, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
โ€ข Maintain business documentation and Jira backlog.
โ€ข Serve as the liaison between business and engineering.
โ€ข Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party deliverables.
โ€ข Lead UAT, functional testing, regression testing, and defect tracking.
โ€ข Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
โ€ข Collaborate with engineering on technical feasibility and scope.
โ€ข Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve analysis and productivity.
Qualifications
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
โ€ข Strong experience documenting business processes and requirements.
โ€ข Experience facilitating stakeholder discovery sessions.
โ€ข Experience with Jira and process modeling tools.
โ€ข Hands-on QA/UAT experience.
โ€ข Excellent communication and analytical skills.
โ€ข Ability to work on-site in Flower Mound, TX.
Preferred:
โ€ข Node.js and PostgreSQL experience.
โ€ข API and database knowledge.
โ€ข Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
โ€ข Experience working closely with Agile engineering teams.
