Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation that meets the needs of our diverse audience, including engineers, project managers, and end-users. This is a contract position located in Houston, TX.
General Description Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and edit technical materials, such as Standard Operating Procedures, equipment manuals, appendices, and maintenance instructions.

  • Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather the technical information required for documentation.

  • Translate complex engineering concepts into user-friendly instructions for non-technical audiences.

  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.

  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content.

  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature.

  • Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.

  • Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an engineering or technical environment.
