We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Leader who can lead the rapid growth of our industrial product manufacturing operation. Visionary, hands-on, and attention to detail are some of the most critical requirements for this high growth potential position. This Leader reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. The position is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute a manufacturing plan to rapidly scale volume
  • Ensure 100% safe working environment
  • Define & fill cross-functional manufacturing team (ME, Quality, Safety, Materials Management)
  • Define capital investment plan needed and secure leadership approval
  • Mature manufacturing processes to support rapidly scaling volume (e.g. SIOP, QMS)
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure supplier readiness

Responsible for:
  • On time and on budget execution of additional required capacity & capability
  • Safety - Incident Rate
  • Quality - First Past Yield, Delivered Quality
  • Cost - Manufacturing Budget Compliance, Productivity
  • Delivery - On Time Delivery

Requirements
We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications to apply for this position:
  • B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ten or more years of experience in leading a growing manufacturing operation or complex manufacturing turn-around
  • Experience leading change, developing talent and building teams, establishing operating cadence
  • Direct experience with annual production quantity of one million or more at a unit price of at least $200 (an indication of production complexity)
  • Experience with managing at least 100 production personnel
