Job description

International Customer Service Representative - Corporate Office (Austin, Mn)

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities:
  • Processes all assigned complex export orders for Hormel Foods International products, with minimal supervision, including creating necessary documents and correspondence.
  • Performs all functions involved in the entering of the orders plus giving instructions to plant personnel, transload service, freight forwarders, international transport service providers and, ultimately, customers.
  • Acts as a primary customer service representative for assigned export customers.
Qualifications:

Required

  • Proven ability to perform detailed clerical and mathematical work accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Windows environment including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred

  • International freight forwarding experience.
  • Knowledge of Hormel order processing systems.
  • Bilingual/multilingual language skills in English and any other language.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $20.25-$28.50 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
