Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing administration and support for the business systems used by Ti Information Systems and develop a general understanding of all platforms and systems. A core function of this role will be to plan, design, develop, and launch virtualized Windows systems in support of core organizational functions.

The successful team member will be required to apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Perform user, computer and group administration in Active Directory, Office 365, InTune and other systems as required.
  • Server Administration including windows server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019.
  • Experience with Group Policy management and group policy design
  • Configure, manage, and support Windows DFS file system for various departments.
  • Support and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure ESXi 5.5 and later.
  • Support system and user operational troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in related field
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows Administration
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (mixed versions)
  • Knowledge of Office365, Exchange, and Intune
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks/project concurrently
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex system problems
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work alternate schedule, off-hours, nights and weekends
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
