Job Summary:

BWQOHT Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of our information systems, supporting our dynamic hospitality operations, including restaurants, brewery, and distillery locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network and System Administration:
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
  • Administer, optimize, and secure cloud platform environments hosting SaaS
  • Oversee the configuration, management, and support of user access and privileges for key hospitality business platforms.
  • Ensure data security through effective backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide Tier II& Tier III support for complex IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and cloud platform problems.
  • Resolve support tickets efficiently, escalating issues as needed.
  • Train and support staff with documentation, IT systems, tools, and cloud platforms, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Software and Hardware Management:
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Manage software licensing, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage lifecycle replacement schedules.
  • IT Security and System Enhancement:
  • Implement security protocols to protect company data and systems from threats such as malware and unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular security audits, apply updates, and enhance system performance through upgrades and patches.
  • Develop strategies for continuous system improvement and cyber-attack prevention.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Develop and update documentation for the IT Department, users and stakeholders that align to policies and procedures with best practices.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT needs and deliver solutions that support operational objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality service delivery within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ora related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT administration, with a focus on cloud platform administration in multi-location environments.
  • Proficiency in managing cloud environments such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other cloud-based services.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Ubiquiti Network console and network devices.
  • Strong understanding of network administration, IT security principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with POS systems, such as Toast POS andR365is a significant advantage.
