Job description

IT Systems Administrator

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration and support of our systems, networks and software.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and configuring new instances of Linux and Windows servers. We are primarily a Linux shop but use Windows to run Microsoft Office, and other MS based applications
  • Set up and administer network switches, routers and other basic networking equipment
  • Set up and administer PCs, laptops, etc. for new employees and manage the imaging of the desktops
  • Manage account administration for our employee base for the various IT services they use
  • Install new software onto our network of employee's computers
  • Integrate new services into our existing environment
  • Manage tier 2/3 support issues for anything Systems, Network and Software related

Skills We're Seeking

  • 5+ years of experience with Systems Administration
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux administration
  • Networking support experience (route/switch)
  • Experience with desktop imaging
  • Experience with general tier 3 IT support
