  1. IT Administrator: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM;
  2. IT Administrator: 12:00 PM- 8:00 PM

Helene Fuld College of Nursing is nationally recognized for excellence in nursing education and noted for its comprehensive, innovative academic programs that are responsive to the healthcare challenges of the future. Helene Fuld College of Nursing is an independent single-purpose institution. Its mission is to provide a dynamic career-ladder approach to nursing education to improve professional practice and contribute to the health of communities. We are seeking a results-oriented IT Administrator to keep our Helene Fuld College of Nursing computer infrastructure updated. Under direct IT Director supervision, you will be upgrading and installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, and maintaining our networks and servers.

To ensure success as an IT administrator, you should possess extensive experience in IT administration and the ability to optimize the performance of our IT infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
  • Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
  • Creating user accounts and performing access control.
  • Developing a unified social media voice and strategy across the college’s current institutional channels (Facebook, Instagram, X [Twitter], LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Crafting social media strategies to build audience, grow college awareness, expand reach and increase engagement.
  • Evaluating other social media platforms (TikTok, Snap, Threads, etc.) for potential additions to college’s institutional channels; launch and manage new accounts.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
  • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data. Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
  • Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
  • Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft and Avaya certification.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, social media platforms, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
