Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering an exceptional dining experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity in daily menu development, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. A minimum of 3 years in Culinary Leadership is required for consideration.


Duties

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Collaborate with the executive director and residents to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and service, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
