Purpose of Position
As a Field Recruiter for Sonbyrne Sales Inc. / Byrne Dairy & Deli, you will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting and selecting qualified candidates to join our team. The Field Recruiter will support the HR team with a variety of recruiting and administrative functions. Duties will include; full cycle recruiting support to Byrne Dairy & Deli convenience stores, Shelby Bakery, Sonbyrne Warehouse and Sonbyrne Corporate Office, management of the Applicant Tracking System, assisting with day to day operations of the HR department and conducting employee orientation. Your efforts will directly impact the growth and success of our stores by ensuring we have a skilled motivated workforce.
Job Responsibilities
As a Field Recruiter, it will be up to you to create and build upon a positive and family-oriented culture and a profitable retail business environment, with the overall goal of helping us to continue to grow a successful organization.
• Complete full life cycle recruiting for all positions within Sonbyrne Sales.
• Proactively source candidates through various channels, including networking, referrals, social media, and online job boards.
• Scheduling, coordinating and conducting interviews.
• Continually evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of recruiting process.
• Provide support to candidates and hiring managers who have questions or require assistance.
• Create and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers during hiring and onboarding fulfillment process to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
• Look for new trends in the recruiting industry that will assist in finding and attracting top talent.
• Initiate on-boarding process for new hires.
• Initiate pre-employment tasks
• Assist with the planning, development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
• Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department.
• Travel to Byrne Dairy retail stores throughout New York
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements
