Job description

Mindera is an established global software engineering company providing IT services to end-user customers and leading technology partners globally. Mindera is headquartered in Leicester, UK and has offices in Los Angeles,US, Portugal, Brazil, Romania, Morocco, India and Australia.

Mindera partners with clients to understand their product and deliver high performance, resilient and scalable software systems that create an impact in their users and businesses across the world. This includes retail, sports, gambling, health and finance sectors.

Mindera is looking to recruit a Sales Director, US (Software Services) with recent experience in a software services domain.  In this role you will work closely with Mindera business and vertical owners from around the world to build out the top of the funnel and support new clients with pitches and RFP responses.

The role will be hybrid and flexible in terms of work location, but some domestic and international travel will be required to meet face-to-face with prospects and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Self-starter who can quickly build an internal network and bring together Mindera's world-class capabilities to deliver strategic value to our clients
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business in organizations with $2B+ in sales using a consultative and collaborative multi-discipline team approach
  • You have an established network and contacts within multiple industries in the US.
  • Ability to develop long-term client relationships at the Director, VP, and C Suite
  • Deep understanding of technology trends and ability to drive positive change from a broad industry perspective via the latest technology solutions in AI, Cloud, Data, Core Software Engineering, Legacy Modernization, DevOps, Agile, and more
  • Experience with evangelizing transformational ideas (e.g., digital transformation and organizational change) and building a vision for large enterprise clients, leading to real long-term value via the use of advanced software engineering and technology consulting services
  • Ability to work with and lead teams of highly skilled professionals on a deal basis
  • Proven track record of collaborating with technology vendors to close business
  • Experience with proactive selling, RFP, and RFI response orchestration
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts & KPI's,
  • Attend, network and be a speaker at conferences/conventions where they are a fit for the outreach program.
  • Proven networking skills
  • Strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Work as an individual contributor, leveraging years of relationships in the industry to bring in new business & clients for Mindera
  • Procure, process, and close net new accounts
  • Build a pipeline in the US and design a proactive approach to driving new business for Mindera
  • Position Mindera as a trusted partner with decision-makers in prospective and existing client organizations
  • Build, execute, and continuously refine your account and pursuit plans
  • Build an internal network and relationships with key stakeholders, get up to speed on Mindera's history, key value propositions, and experience
  • Identify, articulate, orchestrate, and win business consulting and technology services deals
  • Participate in and lead Mindera's sales pursuits to secure new business
  • Qualify and drive complex RFP responses
  • Stay current on the latest technology and market trends via continuous learning

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development & client sales
  • 5+ years of experience in the software or technology industry
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing unique solutions to unique business needs - not just integrations with existing products.
  • Experience in C-Suite, enterprise and B2B outreach and communications
  • An existing network within relevant technology sectors
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent preparation & presentation skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to explain and present technical solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Affinity to both sales and technology functions

The salary range presented represents Mindera's good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting, covering base salary only. Final compensation offers are determined by several factors, such as the candidate's geographic location, professional experience, educational background, and specific training, alongside prevailing market conditions and business needs. Typically, new hires receive a salary within the stated bracket.

Current Salary Range: $200,000 - $220,000
