To thrive as an Internship RFP Consultant, you need strong research, analytical, and written communication skills, often supported by coursework or experience in business, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with proposal management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sometimes CRM tools is typically required. Attention to detail, time management, and collaboration are standout soft skills for excelling in this role. These abilities ensure high-quality, competitive proposals are developed efficiently, helping organizations secure important contracts and opportunities.

What are Internship RFP Consultants?

Internship RFP Consultants are professionals who assist organizations in creating, managing, and evaluating Requests for Proposals (RFPs) specifically related to internship programs. • Help ensure accuracy within the RFP response database (Loopio).
  • Deepen working knowledge of the firm's structure, key personnel, organizational policies and procedures, and investment/product knowledge.
  • Deepen relationships with internal subject matter experts, including product management, sales, client relations, and investment professionals, to facilitate collaboration across teams to understand client needs to create customized RFP responses that highlight the firm's strategic and competitive advantage.
  • Interact with compliance/legal to review and obtain approvals of materials.
  • Partner with Data Team to ensure the quantitative information is accurately providing the response needed for the deliverable
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
