They often work as part of multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the development of safe, functional, and sustainable living and working spaces in space. Their responsibilities may include creating conceptual designs, modeling habitats, and collaborating with engineers and scientists. Entry level space architects typically have a background in architecture, engineering, or a related field, and a strong interest in space exploration.

What are some typical projects and responsibilities for an entry level space architect?

As an entry level space architect, you can expect to work on supporting the design and conceptualization of habitats, workspaces, or modules for use in space missions, such as those on the International Space Station or future lunar and Martian bases.
