Job Summary:

The Sales Director of Customer Success within Sales organization is responsible for driving repeat sales and assisting with deployment and service/support strategies for major AI Infrastructure and Enterprise accounts. This includes leading the Customer Success team to provide excellent customer satisfaction that results in repeat business (driving revenue and profit). This individual must have strong leadership skills, excellent customer relationship experience and sales leadership experience. Domain experience in AI and server product, solutions and innovations. This individual must be very strong at working cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 'hands-on' as needed while you support and build the team.
  2. Develop and execute effective strategies to win and maintain customer accounts
  3. Identify, qualify, develop and close sales against quota in Enterprise accounts
  4. Build and establish relationships with current and potential Enterprise customers, partners, system integrators, VARs, and OEM customers (as required)
  5. Uncover opportunities for senior management to generate revenue from high-level executives
  6. Assemble a pipeline of both short-term and long-term opportunities through target lists for Enterprise market
  7. Travel to customer sites to present Supermicro's products, solutions and services as well as to maintain account integrity
  8. Supervise varied levels of a Customer Success sales team, including directing work, providing training, development and managing performance-related issues
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree and MBA preferred
  2. Minimum 15+ years' experience in a server & AI sales environment preferred
  3. Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic
  4. Solid oral and written communication skills, executive presence, and judgment
  5. Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  6. Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  7. Must be willing to utilize self-admin skills as needed
  8. Strong command of the English language; proficiency in 2nd language is a plus
  9. Based in San Jose, California
  10. Ability to travel up to 35% of the time or as needed
Salary Range

185,500 - 208,097

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
