FuntoNetwork is seeking a OT Cybersecurity / Tenable OT Consultant for an active RFP opportunity: Lansing Board of Water & Light Event 202606197701 - Internal Network Security Monitoring Program.
BWL is procuring a Tenable OT Security solution and advisory services for an Internal Network Security Monitoring program.
Core Responsibilities
  • Advise on Tenable OT deployment planning, tuning, asset visibility, monitoring workflows, and critical infrastructure security readiness.
  • Review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response.
  • Prepare documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to this role.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
  • Support quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness.
  • Baseline the security environment: Inventory assets, identities, data flows, privileged access, logging, endpoint controls, and third-party dependencies for Lansing Board of Water & Light Event 202606197701 - Internal Network Security Monitoring Program .
  • Map regulatory and control requirements: Translate applicable security, privacy, contractual, and compliance obligations into testable controls for Lansing Board of Water & Light.
  • Perform threat and risk analysis: Identify threat scenarios, vulnerabilities, likelihood, impact, existing safeguards, and residual risk.
  • Define monitoring and incident workflows: Specify alert sources, severity rules, triage steps, evidence preservation, escalation, containment, and notification paths.
  • Manage remediation work packages: Assign findings, due dates, compensating controls, exceptions, validation tests, and closure evidence.
  • Produce security assurance evidence: Prepare control mappings, risk-register updates, incident records, remediation status, and executive security reporting.

  • Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements.
