Job description

CLIENT ADVOCATE – IMMIGRATION LAW
Maney | Gordon | Zeller, P.A.
Downtown Tampa, FL | Full-Time | In-Office | Bilingual English/Spanish Required
WHO WE ARE
Maney | Gordon | Zeller, P.A. is one of Florida's most established immigration law firms, with offices in Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Dade City. We are a firm built on experience, credentials, and results - and we are growing.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You answer the phone - and someone's life changes.
The Client Advocate is the first voice a prospective client hears. These are real people navigating one of the most stressful processes of their lives: reuniting with family, securing their status, building a future in this country. Your job is to make them feel heard, guide them toward the right consultation, and follow through until they are retained.
This is not a passive receptionist role. It is a high-impact, front-line position that directly drives firm growth - and it demands someone who is driven, organized, and genuinely great with people.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
•Serve as the first point of contact for all prospective clients by phone, text, and online inquiry
•Conduct warm, professional intake conversations in English and Spanish
•Gather case information, assess client needs, and route to the appropriate attorney
•Schedule and confirm consultations; send timely appointment reminders
•Follow up persistently with prospective clients through the full retention process
•Address questions, overcome hesitations, and communicate the firm's value and credentials
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and outcomes
•Support the attorneys and legal team with client communications and administrative tasks
WHO YOU ARE
•Fluent in English and Spanish - written and spoken (firm requirement, not a preference)
•A natural on the phone: warm, confident, clear, and professionally polished
•Highly organized and detail-oriented - you follow through and document everything
•Experienced with high-volume calls, ideally in a law firm, medical office, or similar environment
•Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities without being micromanaged
•Resilient - you don't give up on a lead after one unanswered call
•Motivated by outcomes: you want to see the number of retained clients go up
Nice to Have:
•Prior experience in immigration law or another legal specialty
•Familiarity with CRM or case management platforms
•Experience with DocuSign, shared email inboxes, or text-based client communication tools
WHAT WE OFFER
•Health Insurance
•Dental & Vision
•Life Insurance
•Paid Holidays
•PTO
•A team that takes immigration law seriously - and takes care of the people who do this work
POSITION DETAILS
Location: Downtown Tampa, FL - in-office required
Schedule: Full-Time | Start time 7:30 AM EST
Language: Bilingual English/Spanish required
Experience: Law firm or medical office preferred
We are a growing firm - five offices, two practice areas, and an aggressive expansion strategy. The Client Advocate role has a direct line to firm revenue and client outcomes. If you are the kind of person who takes pride in never letting a lead fall through the cracks, we want to meet you.
