Job Description
The North America Construction Builders Risk Associate Client Advocate (ACA) is a client-facing role responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality service, assisting with Builders Risk program execution, and contributing to overall client relationship management. This role applies Commercial Property & Casualty insurance knowledge while coordinating key internal service delivery activities.
In close partnership with Builders Risk Brokers, the ACA supports day-to-day client service needs, including placement coordination, issue resolution, and renewal execution. The ACA develops a foundational understanding of each client's business and risk profile to help support the delivery of appropriate insurance solutions.
The ACA plays a key role in supporting client retention and service delivery by assisting with client presentations, proposals, and renewal activities, as well as responding to client inquiries in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.
This role is responsible for executing core service activities, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of deliverables. The ACA collaborates with broking, sales, and other internal stakeholders to support client needs and contribute to a consistent, high-quality client experience.
The ACA is expected to continue developing technical, client management, and communication skills, and may provide support or mentorship to less experienced colleagues as appropriate.
  • Support Builders Risk Brokers on complex accounts through accurate documentation, seamless administrative execution, and end-to-end policy management
  • Execute small to mid-sized Master Builders Risk placements, including extensions, and endorsements
  • Maintain and update internal systems (EPIC, RMS, Broking Platform, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Issuance of Builders Risk policies, managing invoice tracking and expiration reports
  • Perform service delivery activities including second-level policy reviews, resolution of accounting discrepancies, management of aged receivables and bad debt, surplus lines documentation, client invoicing, and certificate of insurance issuance
  • Retains existing book of business, develops, and strengthens client relationships
  • Identifies, engages, and integrates delivery of all WTW internal resources to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Support strategic planning and contribute to risk and insurance advisory services in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term (including acquisition due diligence)
  • Support client retention and contribute to account profitability
  • Partner with Builders Risk Brokers and broader team members to expand existing relationships and support new business development
  • Collaborate on internal and external strategy meetings and stay informed on market trends and developments
  • Support the development of client deliverables including RFP responses, presentations, client service plans, and advocacy materials
  • Coordinates the renewal process to establish and implement the client-specific renewal strategy, collaborates with WTW resources and industry groups to develop and deliver renewal to clients
  • Ensures all policy requirements (legal, regulatory & compliance) are met
  • Coordinate service delivery across Global Service Delivery (GSD) teams and engage appropriate subject matter experts for escalations
  • Gather and manage client information in collaboration with the Builders Risk Broking team

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience in a client-facing or similar role, or demonstrated ability to perform role responsibilities
  • Ability to analyze coverage forms, assess program design, and identify coverage gaps
  • Ability to interpret and present analytical models, depending on complexity
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to leverage internal and external resources
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflict and achieve favorable outcomes
  • Business acumen with understanding of client strategies, risk solutions, and market dynamics
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end commercial insurance renewal process
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including ability to communicate complex concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
  • Project management capabilities, including support of complex or multi-dimensional initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems
  • Maintain an active Property & Casualty insurance license and complete all required continuing education to remain in good standing
  • Industry designations preferred (CPCU, ARM, CIC, CRIS, CRM)
  • 1-3 years of Builders Risk experience preferred required

Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $100,000- $110,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
