Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Client Relations Specialists to join our team. The Client Relations Specialist is the clients (both pet owners and referring veterinarians) first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person, making it a critical role in our hospital. We are looking for Client Relations Specialists who are able to work a variety of shifts, including but not limited to; day, evening, or overnight shifts as well as weekends and holidays. Client Relations Specialists must possess excellent telephone and in-person client service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment. The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and a close attention to detail are required. Strong organizational skills, team orientation, and computer experience are essential in the day to day functions of this role. Candidates should have compassion for animals and their owners. Prior experience within human medicine or a veterinary hospital is preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome clients and patients with compassion and professionalism
  • Collect and enter accurate client and patient information
  • Assist clients with financial options and required paperwork
  • Answer and triage phone calls appropriately
  • Organize and maintain accurate medical records
  • Support pet owners through difficult decisions, including euthanasia services
  • Recognize emergency (STAT) cases and alert the medical team promptly

Background & Experience

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or client-facing roles
  • Veterinary or human medical experience is a plus, but not required
