Position Purpose

Responsible for ensuring all 3rd party partner and reseller agreements and relationships are fully supported, meeting business objectives, contractual obligations and for supporting financial targets for the third-party content and Integrated Services income lines. Manage communications, royalty report creation, and payments in support of 3PC/INTS partners. Also responsible for reseller channel partner support including quoting.

Organization Role

The Client Relations Support individual will participate in the lead group as ASTM develops ongoing programs for Integrated Services, maintenance for current Integrated Services and third party content partners and reseller channel partners.. This role will also identify workflow improvements, introduce new tools and efficiencies to improve processes and support the implementation of the aforementioned..

The role encompasses collaboration with internal resources as well as setting expectations for, and account management of, external partners. Sales & Marketing partnerships are comprised of Standards Development Organizations (SDO's), National Standards Bodies (NSB's), Trade Associations, Professional Societies and Technical Publishers.

The position functions as an individual contributor. It has no supervisory responsibilities, but regularly Drives collaboration efforts across the organization. This position will perform additional tasks as set forth by line manager; Critical to this role is to be available at quarter and year end close to resolve all royalty invoicing and payments. Participation in on site ASTM Sales Department wide and Sales & Marketing divisional meetings (annual Sales Week) are required.

Responsibilities

Incoming Royalties:

  • Act on behalf of ASTM sales team at large as point of contact for incoming royalty reports, record royalty data for sales team, initiate invoice creation.
  • Maintain SalesForce royalty data at the account level.
  • Maintain legacy royalty spreadsheet.
  • Outgoing/3PC Royalties:
  • Generate 3PC royalty reports quarterly, disseminate reports to ASTM sales directors and third party content partners, acquire necessary approvals, provide edits and refinements as needed, coordinate payment with ASTM Accounting
  • Assist ASTM Accounting with EOY royalty accruals/confirmations and provide ongoing support as needed pertaining to royalty data
  • Coordinate report requests from White Label/INTS/3PC partners
  • Generate reports as required
  • Assist with on boarding of new 3PC partners
  • Work with Manager to establish improved sales & royalty workflow where possible
  • Engage key stakeholders throughout ASTM where necessary.
  • Manage royalty approvals for ASTM reseller channel partners
  • Provide ongoing support and education for reseller channel partners regarding the ASTM Reseller Portal.
  • Assist in the maintenance of ASTM reseller records including account information matrix.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Facility with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment while driving positive change
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time in order to meet timelines and expand relationships
  • 5 or more years of directly-related work experience in either customer-facing project management, work flow, or relationship management

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in B2B collaboration at the executive or Director level of organizations
  • Experience maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships with significant add-on/repeat business
  • Experienced in consultative/relationship-based solutions.
