Job description

Client Relations Specialist (Onsite Print Production Manager)

Position Summary
ABC Imaging is seeking an experienced Client Relations Specialist to become an integral part of our team. Reporting to the Client Relations District Manager, this role is responsible for managing an onsite print production facility, overseeing daily operations, and supervising staff to ensure exceptional client service and high-quality deliverables.

This position combines print production management, customer relationship management, and team leadership in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality print production services while meeting tight deadlines and client expectations
  • Manage all administrative and operational functions, including meter reads, time reporting, billing processes, and equipment maintenance
  • Oversee daily print shop operations, including staff scheduling, workflow coordination, and project management
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to standard operating procedures
  • Maintain and manage print production equipment, recommending upgrades or new acquisitions to improve efficiency
  • Review and verify billing accuracy, including pre-work orders, pre-billing, and final invoices; resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Monitor and escalate helpdesk tickets and technical issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Partner with Major Account Managers to support client relationships, including client communication, site visits, and participation in events or presentations
  • Maintain and update Client Relations Operations Manuals and internal documentation
  • Communicate regularly with the Client Relations District Manager regarding client needs, operational updates, and staff performance
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and materials to support ongoing production needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in print production, digital printing, or related industry (strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of print equipment, production materials, and finishing processes
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in a production or service environment
  • Strong customer service and client-facing communication skills (in-person and phone)
  • Ability to confidently present company capabilities and print solutions to clients
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment, software, and workflow issues
