Job description

We are seeking a Transformation Program Manager to join a high-priority transformation program. This role functions as a key execution leader and operational driver, working alongside program leadership to accelerate delivery, remove bottlenecks, and enable the broader team to operate independently.
This is not a traditional project management role. It is a hands-on consulting operator who can step into the work, create clarity in real time, and ensure multiple workstreams move forward without friction or over-reliance on a single lead.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in high-ambiguity, fast-moving transformation environments where priorities evolve quickly and execution gaps must be solved in real time.
What You’ll Do
Drive Execution from Within
  • Embed within the client and delivery team to actively drive day-to-day execution
  • Identify where work is stalled and unblock progress immediately
  • Ensure multiple workstreams advance in parallel without creating new dependencies
  • Maintain momentum across operational, onboarding, CX, and enablement initiatives
Act as the “Second Brain” to Program Leadership
  • Partner closely with program leadership to translate strategy into execution
  • Absorb context quickly and redistribute it so others can act without needing constant input
  • Step in to own conversations, decisions, or deliverables when bandwidth is constrained
  • Anticipate execution gaps and proactively create structure before issues escalate
Enable Independent Team Performance
  • Equip team members (BA, onboarding, design, change management) with:
    • Clear direction
    • Defined ownership
    • Actionable next steps
  • Push ownership down into the team—avoiding centralized execution bottlenecks
  • Coach individuals to take the lead on their respective workstreams
  • Ensure accountability is maintained without slowing execution velocity
Create Clarity in Ambiguity
  • Turn incomplete or evolving inputs into structured plans and tasks
  • Define “what happens next” across all active workstreams
  • Ensure alignment without slowing things down with unnecessary process
  • Simplify complexity so teams can execute confidently and quickly
Represent the Program
  • Step into client calls, workshops, and internal sessions as needed
  • Confidently lead discussions, ask the right questions, and move decisions forward
  • Maintain continuity when primary program leadership cannot be present
  • Build credibility quickly with both internal teams and enterprise stakeholders
Operationalize the Work
  • Build lightweight systems (e.g., Asana, trackers, recaps) that enable execution without hand-holding
  • Document just enough to keep the team aligned and moving
  • Ensure nothing falls through the cracks as velocity increases
  • Create repeatable operating rhythms that improve delivery consistency and speed

Who You Are
  • 5–9 years in consulting, program delivery, or embedded operations roles
  • Experienced in post-sale, renewals, or SaaS environments (preferred)
  • Proven ability to operate inside client environments, not just advise from the outside
  • Comfortable leading calls and interacting directly with senior stakeholders
  • Skilled at working across functions without formal authority
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Comfortable making decisions and driving progress in ambiguous environments

How You Work
  • You don’t wait for perfect direction—you create it
  • You step in where needed, but don’t become the bottleneck
  • You simplify complexity so others can move faster
  • You balance speed with structure—just enough process to scale execution
  • You lead without ego, enabling others to step up
  • You proactively identify risks, gaps, and dependencies before they impact delivery

This Person Succeeds By
  • Driving decisions forward without waiting for escalation
  • Creating momentum across cross-functional teams
  • Holding owners accountable while maintaining trust
  • Anticipating issues before they become blockers
  • Operating with strong judgment in fast-moving enterprise environments
  • Maintaining delivery velocity while ensuring quality and alignment
  • Helping teams operate independently without constant oversight
