Job description

As a Business Program Manager, he or she will manage the life cycle of products, services, and/or processes that deliver value to customers while meeting overall business requirements. The responsibility extends to driving and achieving business & financial results for the products/programs in which he or she is in charge of. The Business Program Manager will focus on managing programs and or products through coordination of various internal and/or external functional groups. This requires confidence in implementing complex project schedules and meeting deadlines and deliverables within a structured Time to Market process. Ultimately, Business Program Manager will be the end-to-end owner of the business account he or she manages.
Essential job Functions:
• Performs initial pricing and monthly quotation updates
• Conducts Strategies and Solutions Planning
• Designs Business and Marketing Strategies
• Develops Customer and Partner Relationship and/or Sponsorship
• Market trend Analysis
• Understands manufacturing processes and requirements for cost analysis
• Communicates and resolves issues between factories and customers.
• Develops new business opportunities
• Exercises overall ownership of the managed accounts.
• Be the bridge among customers and Factory, R&D, Supports, Suppliers etc.
• Oversee production/delivery schedules to meet customer requirements
• Manages the cost and prices of parts and the whole unit
• Consider customers’ needs in development of products/solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualification:
• Ability to show critical thinking and decision making
• Sales and business development skills and experience
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High level of flexibility, discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
• Proactive and professional with a lot of patience.
• Must be detail oriented with superb time management, organizational and executional skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as listening and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work on a team collaboratively, as well as independently on multiple high priority projects
Required education, training and ability:
• BS degree in computer engineering, information technology, business management, marketing etc. related fields
• Proficient in MS Office Suite 2010, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Excellent written, reading and verbal skills in English language
• Language skills in Mandarin is a plus
Preferred Qualifications and skills:
• PMP Certificate
• Past professional experience in similar industry
• MS or MBA degree
• Understands Server/Storage technology and their trend
