Job Summary:

The Business Program Manager will serve as a key liaison between Asia headquarters and North American stakeholders, supporting cross-regional program execution and business alignment. This role requires an on-site presence at the local office and flexibility to travel as business needs arise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong English communication skills, a continuous learning mindset, and the ability to adapt working hours to effectively collaborate across global time zones. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required to ensure seamless communication with the Asia headquarters team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate strategic cross-functional programs across North America and Asia, managing project plans, timelines, KPIs, risks, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful business and operational outcomes.
  • Serve as a key liaison between North America and Asia teams, supporting bilingual communication, cross-cultural collaboration, executive coordination, and localization of business processes for the North American market.
  • Collaborate with key customers, partners, and vendors as needed to support program execution, including RFP responses, customer presentations, strategic initiatives, and participation in industry events and forums.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by establishing standard operating procedures and managing program budgets, resources, and vendor engagements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including timelines, dashboards, and risk tracking, while driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, sales, finance, operations, and executive leadership.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program KPIs, milestones, risks, and business outcomes to support strategic decision-making.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in semiconductor, hardware manufacturing, or enterprise technology sectors preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or a related role within the technology or related industry
  • Full professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) required to support communication and collaboration with global headquarters and cross-regional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and proficiency with ERP and project management tools, with PMP, PgMP, or Agile or Scrum certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (including Asia) and work effectively across U.S. and Asia time zones in a global operating model.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Asian companies or in cross-Pacific, multinational environments, including collaboration with global headquarters teams.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to occasionally walk, bend, or reach while supporting office and facility operations.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements when handling office supplies, documents, or computer equipment.
  • Work performed primarily in an office or facility environment with regular interaction with employees and visitors.
