Job description

Position Type: Principal`s Office Date Posted: 5/7/2026 Location: Loyola Academy Testing Coordinator 10-month, Institutional, Non-Exempt, Staff Position The Testing Coordinator is a 10-month, full-time, hourly, staff position. The Testing Coordinator's work schedule includes attendance during the academic year, five Saturdays for oversight of standardized exams, one-on-one testing as needed, and eight weekend days to support SAT Prep programming. The primary role of the Testing Coordinator is to oversee and manage all responsibilities associated with standardized testing, including, but not limited to, communicating with testing organizations and families, coordinating proctors for extended-time students, organizing materials, monitoring exams, and training proctors. The Testing Coordinator works closely with the School and College Counseling Departments. In addition, the Testing Coordinator supports the administrative needs of the Principal's Office. The Testing Coordinator ought to be a person who models cura personalis with the entire community - students, parents, faculty, and staff members. Additionally, the following credentials are required:
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Experience working in a high school setting is preferred;
  • Organization and close attention to detail, along with strong and effective communication; and
  • Extensive proficiency/experience in all Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs and the ability to learn database management.
The Testing Coordinator reports to the AP for Student Success. The position works the school calendar, as well as days preparing and administering national exam days on the weekends and in the summer Testing Responsibilities: Standardized and Semester Exams
  • Coordinate and supervise the administration of all standardized and college admissions exams at Loyola Academy. Standardized tests include the following:
1. PSAT/NMSQT, National ACT and SAT; 2. PSAT and SAT exams during the school year; 3. National ACT and SAT tests given during weekend hours, including Multiple Day Testing; 4. Advanced Placement exams in the spring of each academic year; and
  • Supports High School Placement Test (HSPT), Loyola's Entrance Exam
  • Recruit and train test proctors for all exams.
  • Manage the AP Course Audit system to ensure that courses are approved each year.
  • Manage the AP Registering and Ordering process throughout the academic year.
  • Manage and oversee the AP payment process.
  • Communicate with AP teachers around test preparation and registration processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with testing agencies such as the ACT, College Board, Compass, and Academic Approach.
  • Coordinator proctors for students who require extended time for standardized tests.
  • Support the Academic Interventionists with Extended Time and Special Testing requests. The Academic Interventionists will initiate requests and submit forms, but the Testing Coordinator will be responsible for following up with paperwork and proctoring needs.
  • **The testing coordinator cannot have any immediate family member taking any AP exam in any school while administering the exams. **
