Job description

Performance Testing Consultant

Performance Tester using both JMeter and Loadrunner, also experience building automation frameworks, and TDD

Business Need

Virginia ABC would like to have assistance developing/executing a plan and roadmap for establishing a performance testing program targeted around the Virginia ABC website and online lottery events. The outside vendor will work with ABC to build the platform, infrastructure and processes for the testing program and then execute on that plan under this SOW. ABC will work closely with the vendor for knowledge transfer throughout the engagement to set up ABC staff to perform the testing in the future.

• Design and build a performance testing environment.

• Identify the proper performance testing tools (ABC currently using J Meter)

• Identify performance metrics

• Develop a performance test plan, scripts and schedule

• Generate performance testing data required for testing

• Execute performance test scripts and report results

• Participate in performance test analysis

• Generate performance testing executive summary report.

Required Skills: Must Have: Performance Testing, LoadRunner, JMeter, TDD, and Automation Testing and building automation frameworks

Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: 100% Remote, State Govt. Experience, strong potential for project to extend into further phases (the initial contract is just phase 1)
