Labor/Staffing Coordinator

Active - Certified Nursing Assistant License - Required

Labor Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

· The Labor Coordinator establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.

· Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.

· Interprets human resource policies for nursing staff and participates in in-service training, works with the DON to schedule training classes.

· The Labor Coordinator assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.

· Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.

Labor Coordinator Qualifications:

· Certified Nursing Assistant license required – Active certification.

· The Labor Coordinator must be strong in Excel and Word

· Experience with scheduling software, i.e., Hosted Time or similar software preferred.

· Knowledge of AHCA Regulations required.

· Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.
