Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team! As a Program Coordinator, you will work closely with numerous different departments to assess training and program needs and then find appropriate program options to fill those needs. The Program Coordinator (PC) reports directly to and is supervised by the Director of Program Operations. The PC will be responsible for the overall supervision and management of your assigned residential home(s) and staff. Ensures that services are provided in accordance with DCCI, county, state and federal requirements. The PC will assist in the development of outcomes and goals, and provides behavioral and instructional programming, interfacing with professionals including physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, dieticians, etc. The PC is responsible for Data Collection from staff which support the active treatment plans to include behavior plans. The PC is responsible for family contacts, and the supervision, training and development of direct support staff in order to create a supportive and enriched residential experience for participants receiving services under home and community waiver services in DC, MD, or future surrounding states.
You will also attend various meetings to gain a better understanding of the company goals, assist management with implementing new programs, and ensure all company programs are in line with our mission and goals. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a similar coordinator role, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to multitask and switch priorities, as needed. 

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Work closely with many departments, building relationships and learning the needs of each department
  • Determine the best programs for each department based on their unique needs
  • Assist management in implementing programs effectively
  • Attend various department meetings to gain a deeper understanding
  • Ongoing review of programs to ensure that services are provided in a comprehensive manner 
  • Provides technical and administrative support across all services in the following areas: service plan compliance; compliance with waiver requirements; assisted oversight of compliance with procedures to include financial management; onboarding of new employees; team support with transition and planning; and notifying the appropriate person (IMC) regarding reportable/serious reportable incidents.

Qualifications
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree; an exception may be approved by the CEO based on length of service, work history, etc. 
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/ managerial experience
  • Excellent communication skills and self -directed responsibility to support the supported persons and staff members assigned to them. 
  • Must have the desire and skills to mentor direct support professionals. 
  • Must meet state requirements regarding criminal background check. Must meet all training requirements and keep training current
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work well independently and within a team

Technical Skills:

  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, GDrive, Sandata EVV, LTSS, PCIS, 
  • Technical writing (quarterlies, PCPs, etc)
  • Project management
  • Data analysis to include but not limited to Progress notes, Data collection, SIP, Goals, DSAT, etc).
