Technical Program Manager โ€“ Payments & AI


Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3Days onsite)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract End Date: December 31, 2026 with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $50/hour (C2C is Ok)


TPM using Jira projects in the transactions team.


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong background in software, payments, and AI to lead complex technical programs from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead programs through the full technical program management lifecycle, from planning and execution through delivery and closure.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, business, and technology partners.
  • Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Leverage data, metrics, and reporting to identify trends, drive decisions, and create actionable outcomes.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager leading complex technology programs.
  • Strong software/technology background and technical acumen.
  • Experience in the payments/financial technology space.
  • Experience working with AI/ML technologies or AI-driven programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
