This is not a traditional project management role focused solely on schedules and status reporting. The ideal candidate understands the realities of software delivery, can engage credibly with technical teams, and helps organizations make better delivery decisions through transparency, planning, and execution excellence. Key Responsibilities Program & Delivery Management Drive visibility into program status, scope, risks, dependencies, and milestones Coordinate delivery activities across multiple technology teams Ensure work is properly planned, sequenced, and prepared before execution Manage cross-functional dependencies and proactively remove delivery obstacles Facilitate planning sessions, reviews, and governance forums Stakeholder Management & Communication Provide clear, concise updates to technical and business stakeholders Escalate risks and issues appropriately to minimize surprises Build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and Leadership teams Align stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations Technical Program Leadership Develop a strong understanding of system architecture, technical dependencies, and release considerations Partner with engineers and architects to evaluate technical risks and delivery readiness Support strategic initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholder groups Help improve delivery maturity, planning effectiveness, and execution standards Metrics & Continuous Improvement Track and analyze delivery metrics including: Lead Time Cycle Time Throughput Work in Progress (WIP) Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) Change Failure Rate Identify opportunities to improve delivery predictability and efficiency Support the adoption of delivery best practices across technology teams Profile Qualifications Technical Program Manager 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, delivery management, or a related technical role Experience supporting software development teams and technology initiatives Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools Senior Technical Program Manager Significant experience leading complex software delivery programs in large-scale technology environments Strong technical background in software engineering, architecture, QA, systems integration, or related disciplines Experience managing cross-functional programs involving multiple teams and senior stakeholders Ability to influence delivery outcomes and drive execution in complex environments Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, architecture considerations, and delivery metrics Preferred Experience Financial Services, FinTech, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or other regulated industries Enterprise-scale platform delivery Modern software engineering practices and Agile delivery frameworks Complex stakeholder environments with high-visibility initiatives What This Role Is Not A traditional project coordinator focused solely on timelines and status updates A Product Manager role determining feature priorities A Scrum Master role limited to running ceremonies A Jira administration position without strategic impact Job Offer Why Join?
