We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager with a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex software platforms, tools, and processes that deliver innovative, end-to-end experiences that cater to customer satisfaction. The Siri User Experience team collaborates with hardware and software partners to deliver groundbreaking Siri experiences across all platforms. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who possess the ability to get results within highly cross-functional teams.
Description
You will drive programs and/or projects, including leading feature definition, system architecture, timelines, milestones, and risk management to ensure an on-time delivery of features. This includes collaborating with multiple partner organizations and various disciplines such as Design, Engineering, and QA to deliver highly integrated experiences.
Communication is essential. Providing clear, timely, concise, and objective communication, including regular program status updates, critical issues and mitigations, changes in plans, risks, and requests for action, will be necessary for success. As an EPM on the team, you are in a critical role in bringing together engineering, design, and other teams to ensure that the right discussions and decisions are made to build a great product.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
Program Experience: At least 6-8 years of experience in project or program management, leading cross-functional software engineering teams in large organizations to deliver consumer-facing technology products.
Candidates should be comfortable structuring new programs and leading multiple work streams independently.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of system architecture, design trade-offs with thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software
Strong Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence, and resolve conflicts within large, complex teams. Must demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a product mentality.
Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and the ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with voice assistant technology
Experience in delivering user-facing software features and driving full-stack development
