Welcome to Love's: The Love's User Experience team provides visual and experience design solutions to departments across the company. Our primary focus is the Love's mobile app (iOS and Android), where we work end to end, from early concepts to final specs and everything in between. We are a part of Love's design group that spans brand, print, digital and the Love's visual identity.
We are looking for a mid-level UX Designer who is excited to grow and deepen their craft. In this role, you will own design work for well-defined problem spaces and features, and you will occasionally lead smaller initiatives with support from the UX Manager and team. You will contribute to visual, interaction, and experience design for the Love's mobile app while supporting design and research initiatives across other projects and platforms. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, developers and product owners at every stage of the process.
If you are looking for a role where your work has real impact, reaches millions of customers, and is visible across a company that genuinely invests in design - this is it.
Job Functions:
  • Design intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent experiences for our iOS and Android mobile application, collaborating with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders throughout
  • Contribute to the evolution of the team's component library and design system, with an eye toward scalability across Love's design organization and external partners.
  • Create design artifacts across fidelity levels, from rough wireframes and flows to polished, fully annotated specs ready for development handoff
  • Build interactive prototypes to support concept exploration, stakeholder alignment and usability validation
  • Champion the user through design thinking while maintaining a clear line of sight to business goals and technical constraints
  • Conduct and document UI QA in close partnership with development teams to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of design specs
  • Stay current on AI-driven design tools and emerging UX patterns, proactively integrating relevant advancements into your workflow
  • Contribute to and, at times, lead design efforts within an interdisciplinary team of designers, researchers, product managers, analysts and engineers
  • Support the UX Research team by assisting with usability sessions and interviews as needed

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field: Interaction Design, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, HCI, Psychology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of UX/product design experience, with demonstrated mobile design work
  • A portfolio showcasing your process and craft is required; mobile app work is strongly preferred
  • Experience designing within and contributing to design systems
  • Exposure to user research methodologies (usability testing, interviews, surveys) is a plus

Skills and Physical Demands:
  • Strong command of visual and interaction design principles, demonstrated in a portfolio with mobile (iOS and/or Android) work
  • Proficiency with Figma
  • Familiarity with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design systems
  • Ability to design from zero to one, translating ambiguous problems into clear, compelling experiences
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and emerging AI-driven UI patterns
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
  • Customer-centric mindset with genuine curiosity about people and how they interact with technology
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and giving/receiving direct, constructive design feedback
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum delivery model is a plus
  • Available to work onsite in Oklahoma City
