We are seeking an energetic, strategic, and people-focused HR Recruiting & Talent Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a critical role in attracting top talent, improving retention, and developing future leaders across our hotel portfolio.

Position Overview

The HR Recruiting & Talent Development Specialist is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts, supporting new hire engagement and retention through the first 90 days of employment, and building internal talent development programs that support the long-term growth of CMC Hotels.

This role partners closely with General Managers, Department Leaders, and HR Specialists to ensure staffing needs are met while creating a strong internal leadership pipeline across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned hotel properties
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates aligned with company culture and operational needs
  • Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Prepare and extend offer letters in accordance with company standards
  • Maintain active candidate pipelines for critical and high-turnover positions
  • Ensure job postings are activated promptly and maintained across recruiting platforms
New Hire Engagement & Retention
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days
  • Conduct structured follow-up check-ins at Day 7, 30, 60, and 90
  • Partner with HR Specialists and operational leaders to proactively address retention concerns
  • Support a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for all new associates
Talent Development & Internal Growth
  • Assist in the development and management of leadership and Manager-in-Training (MIT) programs
  • Identify high-potential employees for advancement opportunities
  • Support succession planning and internal promotion initiatives
  • Coordinate development programs focused on leadership readiness and operational growth
  • Assist with LMS training initiatives and workforce development programs
College & Community Recruiting Partnerships
  • Build relationships with hospitality schools, colleges, and workforce development programs
  • Represent CMC Hotels at job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach programs
  • Promote CMC Hotels as an employer of choice through networking and social engagement
Workforce Planning & Reporting
  • Monitor staffing trends, hiring activity, turnover, and talent gaps
  • Provide recruiting and retention updates to HR leadership
  • Support strategic workforce planning initiatives across the portfolio

Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting, HR, hospitality, or talent development experience preferred
  • Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple hotel locations and leadership teams
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, recruiting platforms, or LMS systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to travel between properties as needed
