Location: Ohio (On-Site)

Help Shape the Future of Employee DevelopmentSelect Sires is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to support employee growth, learning, and organizational development initiatives across the company. This role serves as a key resource within the Talent Development team, helping employees build the knowledge, skills, and capabilities needed to succeed while supporting onboarding, learning technology administration, employee development programs, and organizational learning experiences.

What You'll Do

Learning Management System Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator of Select University and related learning technologies.
  • Manage course assignments, enrollments, curricula, certifications, and completion records.
  • Maintain learning content and employee training records.
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Generate reports and recommend system improvements. 

Learning Program Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for employee development programs and training activities.
  • Schedule learning events and maintain participation records.
  • Prepare training materials, communications, and development resources.
  • Support the delivery of employee learning initiatives. 

Employee Development Events & Engagement

  • Coordinate facility tours, educational visits, workshops, and employee development events.
  • Manage event logistics, scheduling, materials, and follow-up communications.
  • Support employee engagement and recognition activities. 

Onboarding & Internship Support

  • Support orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Coordinate internship communications, scheduling, and development experiences.
  • Assist with intern events and program logistics. 

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain departmental records, learning metrics, and reporting.
  • Assist with project tracking, budget coordination, and vendor communication.
  • Research best practices and recommend process improvements that enhance employee learning and engagement. 


Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business software.
  • Ability to learn and administer learning management systems and related technologies.
  • Passion for employee development, learning, and continuous improvement. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Communications, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Associate degree and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Two to five years of experience in talent development, learning administration, training coordination, employee development, communications, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience administering learning management systems preferred.
  • Experience coordinating training programs, events, onboarding programs, orientations, or employee engagement initiatives preferred.
