Talent Development Coordinator - More Than Your Bank. Your Banker.

Full Time - M-F 40 hours

General Summary

In this role, you will support associate training and development at Capital City Bank. You will assist associates across the footprint as a technical resource for training and learning management system (LMS) questions. You will provide daily, ongoing high-level support to the Talent Development Manager and Star University team and will coordinate logistics for in-person education events. You will ensure data accuracy and integrity to support the Bank in meeting regulatory compliance requirements.

This role requires a positive, service-driven presence, an aptitude for technology, exceptional organizational skills, an ability to communicate effectively and to think proactively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and will thrive on helping others by always being one step ahead, planning and prioritizing to accommodate the changing needs of the department, education events, and business partners.

You will lead by example by delivering exceptional service to external and internal clients.

Functions and Role Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Collaborate with the Talent Development Manager to manage the department calendar, including PTO and team events
  • Create and distribute team meeting agendas and notes
  • Market classes and resources provided by Star University to associates across the footprint
  • Maintain department records
  • Maintain department policies and procedures
  • Edit and proof learning communication, materials, and presentations
  • Ensure required office and classroom supplies are available and that the facility and equipment are in proper working order
  • Receive, open, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail; initiate and/or transmit inter-office memos, notices

Education Support

  • Serve as point of contact for learning questions and technical issues with the LMS, including monitoring the StarUOnline email inbox
  • Maintain the global training calendar; appending events annually and as needed
  • Coordinate associate learning, including security system requests, LMS user creation and administering corporate and professional development learning assignments
  • Manage Learning Library – marketing to associates and tracking loaned resources
  • Produce monthly education tracking reports for compliance requirements, participant evaluations, and retail training programs
  • Communicate compliance completion data with associates and managers, as requested
  • Collaborate with the team and conduct research to resolve LMS functionality issues
  • Support LMS testing to ensure courses are uploaded, accessible and captures data correctly
  • Manage communications during end of year compliance follow-up with associates and their managers
  • Assist with tasks for training projects including research, design, and implementation, as needed
  • Assist in training delivery, as needed

Event Support

  • Coordinate registration and communication for corporate learning and professional development events
  • Organize training venues, logistics, transport, and accommodations for in-person events
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and login issues for virtual classroom sessions
  • Coordinate and communicate travel arrangements for the Star University team, as needed

  • Complete all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.
