Talent Development Generalist
What does the Talent Development Team Do?
As a member of the Talent Development team, we're accountable for the recruiting, growth, and development of the organization across multiples states as well as Canada, and growing and supporting the culture at IMS. We manage employee relations, policy administration, talent acquisition and retention, learning & development, and performance management. The TD team handles all of the day-to-day people challenges of the organization, and implements new programs to move IMS forward as an organization through our people.

What's The Opportunity?
The Talent Development Generalist plays an essential role in supporting IMS employees and the TD team. You are comfortable collaborating at all levels of the organization, and are a strong communicator able to collaborate effectively within a geographically diverse team. You have the ability to switch gears quickly and juggle multiple assignments at a time. As a Talent Development Generalist, your role contributes to the mission and vision at IMS by:
• Managing/owning all aspects of on-boarding for new associates; leading orientation, partnering with IT and hiring teams to ensure a successful onboarding experience for new hires
• Recruiting for assigned roles, which may include Account Management, Creative, Client Services, Finance, and other roles
• Serving as a designated contact for IMS employees, providing day-to-day guidance to management, and supporting management and associates with: employee relations, recruiting and staffing, performance management, payroll, benefits, conflict resolution, and training and development
• Managing FMLA/leave of absence/workers compensation process
• Completing administrative forms (new hires, terms, salary changes, etc.) and entering data into our HRIS system, ensuring data is accurate and entered in a timely manner
• Actively participating in office committees and providing counsel from the TD perspective
• Helping to implement people initiatives, regularly contributing ideas and leading presentations to the organization as needed
• Maintaining and updating policies and procedures as necessary, ensuring compliance of all company policies
• Assisting with facilitating payroll processing, including running payroll reports providing backup processing when needed
• Sharing knowledge and cross training team members
• Partnering with committee leads to review recommendations for office events and ensure appropriate approvals from leadership
• Helping to foster an inclusive and welcoming work environment
Some local travel is required in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and/or SPHR/PHR certification
• Experience in a warehouse or marketing agency environment
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Bilingual Spanish/English
Salary Range for this job is $60k to $80k - The salary range provided in this job posting is an estimate based on market data and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, location, and other relevant factors, such as certain certifications that may be desired for this role.
