K. Singh & Associates, Inc. (KSingh), a Civil, Environmental, and Transportation Engineering Consulting firm in Wauwatosa, WI, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for KSingh's Human Resources and Administrative Department. 

Position Description:

The role includes being responsible for performing a range of human resources duties with a primary emphasis on recruiting and talent acquisition to support the continued growth of the firm. This role focuses on identifying and hiring high-quality engineers, environmental scientists, project managers, and other technical professionals who support the firm’s services. 

The position also supports the coordination and administration of employee benefit programs, policies and procedures, performance reviews, onboarding activities, and talent management initiatives. The individual participates as needed in supporting the strategic management goals and vision of the organization while ensuring HR practices remain compliant and aligned with company objectives.

Key Functions:

  1. Talent acquisition, recruitment and management
  2. Administration of benefits
  3. Regulatory compliance
  4. Facilitation of training and development
  5. Onboarding and retention
  6. Administrative documentation and support

Role Specification:

Our ideal candidate will have the minimum educational/professional background of the following:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred 
  2. Three to six years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources 
  3. Experience recruiting for technical or professional roles such as engineers, environmental scientists, construction professionals, or consulting staff strongly preferred
  4. Experience working in engineering, environmental consulting, construction, or professional services environments preferred 
  5. Strong knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, Wage and Hour Law, etc.) and other government compliance regulations preferred 
  6. Excellent listening and oral/written communication skills 
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common applications (experience using HRIS systems preferred)
