Talent Development Manager
Country Visions Cooperative is looking to hire an experienced Talent Development Manager, located at our Brillion home office. This position will require travel to our locations to coordinate and facilitate training sessions. This is an in-person role that will directly report to the VP of Human Resources.
Country Visions Cooperative is a diverse agriculture based cooperative dedicated to service and building long-term relationships from generation to generation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a vital position within our Co-op as we continue to emphasize the importance of training and developing team members at all levels. This person will train and mentor team members from our many divisions. Together with the VP of Human Resources, the Talent Development Manager will build upon the current training structure of the company and create and implement framework and strategies to support the Co-op. The person in this role will need to be flexible, as this position will likely continue to evolve based on the needs of our team members and the overall direction of the Co-op. We will look to this role to encourage, motivate and develop the next group of leaders. The primary duties are as follows:
  • Learn the cooperative system and understand the training needs for each department
  • Lead and structure the employee and leadership development programs
  • Build curriculum for a variety of internal training courses
  • Coordinate course schedules with internal and external parties
  • Lead training sessions for team members on a variety of subjects
  • Suggest new ideas, courses, classes and training sessions for a variety of positions
  • Utilize Thinkzoom and other training software platforms
  • Routinely work with team members, managers, and executive leadership
  • Travel requirement is roughly 20%, to our locations for course training and one-on-one follow-ups
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training or teaching
  • Two or four-year degree in related field, or a combination of relevant experience and education/certifications
  • Training certifications are a plus
  • Experience in designing curriculum and facilitation of organizational development programs
  • Experience in consulting leaders and partnering with diverse company departments
  • Prior utilization and strong understanding of training platforms
  • Demonstrate influence over leaders and trainees
  • Experience working in the agricultural industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
