  • Primary responsibilities
    • Assist with Mergers & Acquisitions pipeline development, target evaluation, and deal execution
    • Translates complex data into executive and board-level dashboards
    • Can take minimum guidance, seek out information, and put together a decision supporting presentation

    • MBA highly preferred
    • Comfort with framing and addressing ambiguous challenges
    • Skill in clearly and simply communicating complex ideas, especially via presentations

Job Summary

Responsible for defining the business future direction by assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives, long-term growth strategy, and business development.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Works with key stakeholders to define, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Assists with creation and execution of yearly strategic business plans.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in development and implementation of initiatives to drive business growth and profitability consistent with overall business unit.
  • Structures and executes multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations.
  • Implements recommendations, tracks results and evaluates project success.
  • Supports high priority projects areas of Strategic Business Development as needed, including enterprise strategy, acquisitions and integrations, divestitures, and investor relations activities
  • Translates complex data in to executive and board-level presentations that articulate potential options and recommendations.

Nature and Scope

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
