The Media Group's Growth Strategy team is hiring a Director of Strategic Development to support business and Product teams by providing context and analysis to inform the prioritization of the most impactful and highest ROI growth initiatives for the business. Their day-to-day focus will be partnering with Peacock Product and cross-functional stakeholders to size emerging growth opportunities. The individual in this role will need to be strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative to succeed. This role will report into the VP, Strategic Growth & Development. The role will require the individual to: 

  • Analyze business rationale for proposed growth initiatives, and deliver clear, objective insights to inform the business prioritization decisions 
  • Assess proposals and benchmark against a broad set of case studies and 1st party analyses  
  • Where needed, develop financial models for new opportunities to facilitate comparison 
  • Revise and refine above financial models to reflect the latest initiative scope and timeline as defined by Product to support on-going prioritization of initiatives with the highest ROI for the Media Group 
  • Partner with Product Analytics teams to develop targets for greenlit initiatives, track progress towards their targets, and enable a strategic feedback loop to business teams to improve go-forward decision-making 
  • Collaborate with the Product Ops team to continually improve the prioritization process that Product Managers use to prioritize features 
  • Partner with Product Analytics to help PMs deeply understand company financial goals and how they connect with more granular KPIs 
  • Develop a deep expertise in the Peacock product and product roadmap; be a knowledgeable resource for fellow business stakeholders 
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in business strategy, analytics, and planning 
  • Substantial exposure to product development processes  
  • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting 
  • Robust communication and collaboration skills to drive alignment in matrixed organization 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and pivot based on evolving priorities 
  • Curious, collaborative, and passionate problem solver with a powerful desire to understand the 'why' behind the 'what' 
  • Bachelor's degree required with substantial quantitative coursework 
  • MBA preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Salary range: $155,000 - $185,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
