Avenue Z is hiring a Strategic Partnerships Development Representative in our Miami office. You will learn directly from our directors and play a hands-on role in growing our hospitality, DTC, and Shopify client base through high-quality strategic partnerships and new business relationships. Strong, demonstrable experience prospecting and generating qualified pipeline via LinkedIn is required.
Primary responsibilities
  • Actively prospect and set meetings with potential partners and clients, with a primary emphasis on sourcing and qualifying leads through LinkedIn.
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, InMail, boolean search, targeted content engagement, and personalized outreach sequences to build a steady pipeline of BDR- and partnership-sourced opportunities.
  • Hit quarterly meeting, partnership, and revenue targets as outlined in the go-to-market strategy.
  • Research and target new market segments, ecosystems, and high-value accounts that align with Avenue Z's priority verticals.
  • Leverage and expand an existing network of ideal companies, platforms, and partner contacts to generate new business.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage the full proposal and partnership development process, including estimates, timelines, and strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and leadership to align outreach, campaigns, and partner motions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM records in HubSpot to track leads, partner opportunities, and deals.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with vendors, technology partners, platforms, and clients to drive long-term, repeatable revenue.

Knowledge and skill requirements
  • Minimum two years of sales or business development experience in digital media or marketing, ideally at an agency or in a SaaS/tech-partner environment.
  • Proven track record in prospecting and generating qualified leads through LinkedIn, including experience with Sales Navigator, InMail, and targeted account/partner outreach.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising and marketing technology platforms (e.g., paid media, CRM, email/SMS, analytics, or partner ecosystems).
  • Self-motivated and independent with the ability to manage priorities and outreach volume without constant supervision.
  • Excellent persuasion, storytelling, and relationship-building skills; able to educate prospects and partners on scope, mutual value, cost, and timelines.
