Position Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Product Sales Training Manager will develop, plan, coordinate and deliver training curriculum and development programs designed to meet the product knowledge acquisition and formula comprehension for all Standard Process (SP) sales employees.ย  The Product Sales Training Manager will lead the training process end-to-end including needs analysis, content development, training delivery, communication, optimization, and outcome assessment. These functions are critical to support key sales force initiatives, scale the business, enhance core competencies among the sales team, and drive sales growth.

Location

  • This is a remote position open to candidates residing in approved employment states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington. Regular travel is required, with anticipated travel up to 50%.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate and coordinate a comprehensive product-focused sales training curriculum with Human Resources and Education departments
  • Ability to lead new hires through their onboarding journey from day one to full comprehension and confidence in articulating the key features, benefits, and points of differentiators for all SP products, acting as an engaging and dynamic mentor, coach, and facilitator in live and virtual environments
  • Maintain a calendar of new hire training, ensuring alignment with employee success as well as the broader Sales Operations team
  • Build a trusted relationship with sales colleagues and sales leadership
  • Curriculum development, delivery of instructional content, and certification of sales team product knowledge
  • Partner with the Education team to effectively communicate the science, key selling messages, positioning, and clinical application of SP products to the sales force
  • Creation of high-quality content including competitive fact sheets and instructional videos, audio guides, and more
  • Ongoing training and program reinforcement to ensure organizational needs are met
  • Share product training module and curriculum participation metrics with sales leaders through monthly reports to promote engagement, foster accountability, and ensure training compliance
  • Partner with sales leaders to ensure the product knowledge proficiency of their teams
  • Accommodate different learning styles: audio, visual, kinesthetic; lecture-based, role plays, etc.
  • Manage the overall sales content library to ensure all information is organized, current, and easily accessible
  • Closely collaborate with sales training counterparts to ensure cohesion of content and sales communications

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Health/Wellness, Education, Business, Information Technology, or related field required
  • Strong background and knowledge of nutrition; degree or certification in Advanced Nutrition preferred

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience training in a sales environment
  • 7+ years of experience in the nutrition/health/wellness field
  • 5+ years of sales management experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with an LMS system
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred

  • Knowledge and application of adult learning principles
  • Dynamic presentation and facilitation skills and able to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Deep knowledge of tools and software to identify how they can be used to improve/optimize sales

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $95,671.00 to $143,508.00 USD annually, with a midpoint of $119,589.50 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Most new hires can expect an offer between the 25th percentile and midpoint of the range.
