About Us
Anytime Fitness Encinitas is a results driven coaching facility focused on structured goal setting, measurable progress, and long term client success. We are transitioning from traditional personal training to a high accountability coaching model that includes 30 60 90 day planning, body composition tracking, assisted stretch integration, and performance based programming.

We are looking for a Training Manager to lead our coaching department, drive revenue growth, develop our trainers and stretch therapists, and ensure every client is working toward a clearly defined goal.

Position Overview
The Training Manager is responsible for overseeing all personal trainers and stretch therapists while actively contributing to department revenue. This role blends leadership, sales, systems management, and coaching excellence.

You will set the standard for professionalism, accountability, and client experience on the training floor.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Development
• Manage and mentor all trainers and stretch therapists
• Conduct weekly one on one meetings with coaches
• Lead monthly coaching education workshops
• Ensure every client has a documented 30 60 and 90 day plan
• Enforce use of logbooks and structured programming systems
• Oversee onboarding and development of new coaches
• Maintain strong culture aligned with Coach Care Connect values

Sales and Revenue Growth
• Conduct fitness consultations and close training packages
• Train coaches in consultative selling and client enrollment
• Monitor and improve personal training and stretch revenue
• Track KPIs including sessions serviced, average ticket, and retention
• Work directly with ownership to hit quarterly and yearly revenue goals

Client Experience and Retention
• Ensure mandatory body scans every 60 days
• Review client progress reports and performance metrics
• Address client concerns and prevent cancellations
• Maintain high standards of service and professionalism

Operations and Systems
• Maintain training floor organization and safety
• Manage scheduling and capacity planning
• Collaborate with special population and adaptive training initiatives
• Support SDRC and other community partnerships

Qualifications

Required
• Personal Training Certification from a nationally recognized organization
• Sales experience with proven ability to close
• Leadership or team management experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• KPI driven mindset

Preferred
• Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field
• Stretch therapy experience
• Experience working with special populations
• Experience leading a team of 5 or more coaches

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus performance based incentives. Compensation range typically falls between 60,000 and 80,000 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for commission and department performance bonuses.
