Job description

Cavallo is looking for an experienced SDR Manager, who has managed both inbound and outbound efforts, to motivate, mentor, and guide the SDR team. As the team's manager, you will work directly with the SDR team to optimize outbound efforts and ensure our message is always on-brand. You will also collaborate with the Account Executive Team and Marketing to work in concert with their efforts and objectives.

A typical day of an SDR Manager would include:
  • Motivating and coaching the SDR team to meet and exceed quotas and objectives;
  • Working jointly with Account Executives to strategize, build their pipeline, and achieve territory goals;
  • Executing and evolving existing prospecting activities to deploy best practices and continue educating the SDR team;
  • Ensuring existing sales processes are executed consistently and continually improve;
  • Optimizing call scripts, email pitches, and other outreach to improve leads generated;
  • Ensuring SDRs are effectively and efficiently using our prospecting tools in order to accomplish their goals;
  • Tracking team metrics with periodic reviews, keeping records, and generating reports on all phases of activities;
  • Helping administer new lead‑generation projects;
  • Meeting regularly for one‑on‑ones with leadership;
  • Hiring, training, and managing additional SDRs, if and as needed;
  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of Cavallo’s products and industries to become a brand ambassador and trainer to the SDR team.

  • You have 3‑5 years of experience as a successful SDR manager or in an outbound sales role and are looking to move into a management role;
  • You have a strong understanding of prospecting methods;
  • You are competitive, self‑motivated, resourceful and possess a positive attitude;
  • You possess strong computer, written, training, and interpersonal communications skills;
  • You have the ability to maintain a fun, high energy environment where people love coming to work;
  • You have the desire to build and develop a team and are eager to produce results;
  • You have experience with CRM (Salesforce is preferred) and prospecting tools (required);
  • You have experience in coaching, mentoring, role‑playing, and data analysis (required);
  • You are self‑motivated, hard‑working and strive to be the best version of yourself daily;
