To overcome these obstacles, analysts rely on strong problem-solving skills, remote diagnostic tools, and clear, empathetic communication. Building a knowledge base and collaborating closely with team members through chat or video calls can also help resolve issues more efficiently and improve user satisfaction.

To thrive as a Remote Help Desk Analyst, you need solid troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of operating systems and networks, and typically an associate’s degree in IT or a related field. Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Zendesk, remote desktop tools, and certifications such as CompTIA A+ are highly valued. Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills help analysts effectively assist users and de-escalate technical frustrations. These competencies ensure quick resolution of technical issues and a positive user experience, which are crucial for organizational productivity and customer satisfaction.

Job description

Deal Desk Analyst

AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. Our solution helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. We're backed by Benchmark, Redpoint, ICONIQ Growth, and Ajax Health. We're a high-growth AI and Data company scaling rapidly.

As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our Commercial organization move quickly while maintaining operational accuracy and compliance. You will partner closely with Account Executives, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success to structure, review, and process deals that support efficient growth. In this role, you'll help ensure our quoting and contracting processes scale effectively, identify operational bottlenecks, and improve the systems and workflows that power our revenue engine.

Team Mission

Deal Desk exists to increase the velocity of the Commercial organization at AcuityMD and drive excellence across the team through strategy, operations, and analysis. We aim to build and improve processes that enable the Commercial and Revenue teams to scale as efficiently as possible, while providing an outstanding customer experience. We are a highly collaborative group that partners cross-functionally with teams across AcuityMD to drive impact.

Responsibilities
  • Support the creation, review, and processing of quotes and order forms within CRM and CPQ systems
  • Review inbound deal requests from Account Executives for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies
  • Manage discount approvals within established thresholds and escalate non-standard requests when needed
  • Structure deal terms including contract length, payment schedules, ramp structures, pilots, and add-on agreements
  • Coordinate with Legal to support contract redlines and ensure timely execution of non-standard agreements
  • Maintain Deal Desk approval queues and help ensure SLA adherence, particularly during month-end and quarter-end close periods
  • Ensure strong CRM hygiene and accurate deal data to support forecasting, reporting, and downstream business processes
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to drive efficient deal execution
  • Understand how commercial deal structures impact ARR, TCV, renewals, revenue recognition, and cash flow
  • Identify process gaps, operational bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and proactively escalate risks or blockers
Your Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, or a related function at a high-growth startup or growth-stage company
  • Hands-on experience working in CRM and CPQ systems
  • Experience structuring non-standard deals including multi-year agreements, ramp deals, pilots, and add-on pricing
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing contracts, order forms, and special commercial terms
  • Experience supporting quarter-end close cycles in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Understanding of revenue recognition concepts and how deal structure impacts cash flow and reporting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively identify blockers, operational risks, and process inefficiencies
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment
  • Eligible work authorization in the United States or Canada
Nice to Haves
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models
  • Experience supporting healthcare, MedTech, life sciences, or SaaS organizations
  • Experience working across distributed teams and time zones
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, MonetizeNow, DealHub, or similar platforms

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided. Base salary range: $100,000-$120,000

We Offer:

We value working collaboratively to solve hard problems for our customers with simple, innovative solutions. We push ourselves to learn with empathy. We foster an active culture of mentorship and inclusion, and we welcome new team members that share our values.
