The Scheduler is an integral part of the company as he/she is often the first point of contact for new patients. The scheduler will assist patients with initiation of care by obtaining demographics, injury and insurance information, and scheduling the patient at the clinic of their choice within 24-hours. Upon scheduling of appointment, the scheduler will distribute electronic intake packages. In addition, the scheduler manages direct referrals that are submitted via fax and other electronic methods.

Please note - this role is an on-site, full-time, immediate need.

What You'll Do:
  • Provides exceptional customer service and 'first impression' to new patients.
  • Answers central phone line and assists patients and/or directs calls as appropriate. Also manages clinic level phone calls as needed.
  • Obtains and accurately documents detailed information on referral source, patient demographics, injury information, and insurance. Distributes electronic intake paperwork according to patient preferred method.
  • Schedules new evaluations at the location of the patient's choice/time per patient preference in a timely manner
  • Communicates with patient care coordinators at the clinics regarding patient appointment preference in order for the patient to be accommodated as soon as possible.
  • Manages EHR reports to ensure patients are appropriately contacted and followed up with to schedule an initial appointment. Discharges patients who were not successfully contacted and sends correspondence regarding their discharge.
  • Use of computer to access O365 SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and Electronic Medical Record software for the purpose of scheduling, documentation, and referral management.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training
  • Call center and/or proven experience working with a multi-line phone system preferred.
Compensation Package:
  • Starting at $18/hour, with compensation adjusted based on experience, skills, and role alignment
